OutDoor is the leading trade show for the outdoor industry in Europe.
Until 2018, OUTDoor was held every June in the city of Friedrichshafen, located in the southernmost part of Germany, but since 2019, the Outdoor by ISPO exhibition has also been held in Munich.
OutDoor by ISPO was created as part of ISPO, the leading exhibition for the sports industry. The newly created OutDoor by ISPO is scheduled to be held for the second time in 2021 after the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the coronavirus.
Currently, there are two exhibitions, one called “Outdoor” and the other called “Outdoor by ISPO”, held once a year.
The OutDoor by ISPO exhibition boasts an open concept and a comprehensive range of products. Both exhibitors and visitors come from outside Germany, making it an active international platform for commerce, networking and information exchange.
With 21,000 visitors and about 1,000 exhibitors from 40 countries, the event features more than 220 categories and awards for innovative products. Many exhibitors consider this show to be so special that they don’t need to attend other shows to do meaningful business.
During OutDoor, the annual Trend Show and OutDoor Conference will be held. These forums are always well received, and the debates and exhibition topics cover a wide range of areas in the outdoor industry. In addition, the debates on new technologies and materials are always hot topics that promote the growth of the industry.
This exhibition is unique in that it is divided into three sections.
The “Core Outdoor” section focuses on products that are widely used in the industry and have been popular for many years.
The “Outdoor Plus” section is for the latest trends and products that are rapidly growing in the market.
The “X Industry” section is for products that focus on innovation.
Each section has its own characteristics, and the products on display are completely different, so the objectives of exhibitors and visitors will also change at each venue. It will be a great pleasure to walk around the venue with the sections in mind.
OutDoor is also a great place to get hands-on access to famous athletes, entrepreneurs, and body experts, as well as a great support program for direct business connections.
There will also be an Outstanding Outdoor Award to highlight the most innovative and high-quality exhibits. These awards are a great way to expand your business opportunities.
In the survey, more than 80% of the visitors answered that the OUTDOOR exhibition is very important, and about half of the visitors answered that the economic situation of the outdoor industry is favorable.
In a survey of exhibitors, about 90% said they would continue to exhibit at Outdoor.
It is believed that the outdoor industry market will continue to grow in the future, and outdoors will continue to see an increase in both exhibitors and visitors.
